Anne holds a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from the University of Winnipeg (Oct 2018), as well as a Master of Arts in Theology (2005) and Spiritual Direction and a BA in psychology (2000). Anne completed her EMDR training in 2010 by an EMDRIA approved instructor (Fraser Training Method) in addition to many advanced EMDR trainings focusing on processing early childhood trauma and dissociation. Anne’s experience and training allows her to assess each client and offer support that addresses an individual, couple or family's unique concerns comprehensively, from a holistic perspective. Anne is happy to work with any other healing professionals you feel would be a benefit to your healing journey. Anne holds a philosophy of care that integrates all aspects of the Self, physical, mental , emotional and spiritual as well as any important community members.
Anne is also trained as a spiritual director, a victim/offender mediator, a hospital-based spiritual health care practitioner, a level II Reiki practitioner. Anne has worked and volunteered in the counselling field since 1998. Anne has worked as a crisis counselor, a trauma chaplain and a spiritual health practitioner (focusing in mental health and trauma) and is currently a volunteer victim/offender mediator. Anne has advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), Mindfulness Based CBT and is a certified Circle of Security Trainer (attachment based parenting model).
